Afia Schwarzenegger
and singer Mzbel were the best of friends and flaunted pictures of fun times on
their various social media platforms but not much has been heard of them for
some time now.
Addressing the issue during a press
launch at Alisa hotel to publicize her upcoming concert, Mzbel Rockz, the latter said her sweet friendship with
the controversial Afia has gone sour for now.
“Yes we are not friends for now but I am trying to
work things out. Afia has a history and it is normal that anybody who has the
kind of past she has will easily get offended. I understand that and that is
why I am trying everything to make it work.
“I love her so much, I have reached out to her on
several occasions, she is yet to get back to me but I pray God will touch her
heart and things will soon get better, hopefully sooner or later things will be
back to normal, “ she said.
Known in private life as Belinda Nana
Akua Amoah, Mzbel returned to the showbiz scene in February last year after a
maternity break with the launch of her Red Carpet Show.
Following the success and rave of the
show, she is set to organize another on May Day at Bukom Square in James Town
called Mzbel Rockz.
