Ghana, an Event Management House and Organizers of Freedom Concert 2015
once again takes a center stage in the celebration of Ghana’s independence with
its second edition of Freedom Concert 2016.
The 2016 edition of Freedom
Concert has two shows at two different venues; the Baba Yara Sports Stadium
Kumasi on the 5th of March 2016 and at the La Pleasure Beach Resort, La, Accra
on the 6th of March 2016.
Artistes billed to perform
include Shatta Wale, Samini, Obrafour, Tic-Tac, Kwawkese, Praye and Lil Win.
The Freedom Concert 2016
according to organizers is aimed at promoting peace and nationalism among
Ghanaians which forms the basis or roots of the liberation from our colonial
masters hence the attainment of Independence in 1957.
It is also to celebrate those
who laid down their lives in achieving this dream. As Ghana goes to the polls
this year, this year’s Freedom Concert is to hammer home the need to
unite as one nation, one people with a common goal; hence the theme:
“Promoting Peace and Nationalism”.
Freedom Concert 2015
experienced a turnout of over 25,000 audiences at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium
representing the biggest ever Independence Show recorded in Kumasi.
Organisers promise a better and
packed show this year which will see this year’s attendance outwitting the
figure recorded in 2015.
