Ghana’s High Life singer, Bisa Kdei leads the list of
nominees at the upcoming #MogoAwards.
Known
as Music Of Ghanaian Origin (MOGO), the
award scheme organized by Citi
Fm is
aimed at celebrating Ghanaian music figures and group.
Nominees
for this year’s #MOGOAwards include Bisa Kdei, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, MzVee, E.L, Obrafour,
Becca. Efya, Sena Dugadu, VVIP, Okyeame Kwame, Osei, Appietus, Killbeatz,
Kaywa, R2Bees, Gasmilla, Kofi B, Akwaboah, Kwabena Kwabena, Amakye Dede, FOKN
Bois, Afro Harmony, Patch Bay & the Ohia Be Ye Ya Band.
The highlife king at the moment, Bisa Kdei tops the list with 7 nominations; Mogo Song Of The Year, Mogo
Artiste Of The Year, Mogo Best Songwriter Of The Year, Mogo Best Performer,
Mogo Best Producer, Mogo Best Album Of The Year & Mogo Best Male Act.
The main event is slated for 5th March
2016, and will take place at Alisa Hotel from 7pm.
