Celebrity
and ‘bikini queen’ Nikki Samonas has been signed as the brand ambassador for
M&K Wear, a trendy clothing line from M&K Designs Ltd. M&K Wear
creates fashionable clothes with African prints and other fabrics for stylish
women and plans a men’s line in the near future.
The two parties have recently
been sending out teasing images of the exotic Nikki (of Ghanaian and Greek
parentage) in elegant M&K clothes on social media even as M&K Wear
launches a new collection for the second quarter of 2016.Three talented young
photographers who are better known by their brand names – Rogue Lens, Keelson
Studio and Elliot Grandberry – shot the photos.
M&K Wear was born out of a
passion to create exciting, trendy and elegant clothes that do not break the
bank in terms of affordability. A young Ghanaian team started the fashion
label. Production is done in Accra and Tema and the finished products are
packaged and sold almost exclusively online at www.mandkwear.com. Clients get
to pay through various mobile money options as well as Visa and MasterCard, and
get their clothes delivered to them.
Nikki (born Nikoletta)
Samonas, has a degree from the KNUST and is known for her acting, modeling and
entrepreneurship. She is the CEO of Gamma Ink, an audio-visual production house
with documentaries, TV commercials and other productions to their credit.
She is the ideal brand
ambassador, with modeling experience and a passion for African prints, which
are self evident from some of her own instagram posts. Nikki’s company, Gamma
Ink, did some of the production work for M&K Wear’s new upcoming video
commercial and other promotional work.
M&K Wear and Nikki plan to
outdoor a lot of exciting things in the near future to titillate and satisfy
the growing clientele of the fashion brand and the growing fan base of Nikki. I
guess readers have to follow the two parties on social media to find out what
other surprises are in the pipeline.
