In very exciting news, Ghanaian artistes,
Stonebwoy, E.L and Jojo Abot will be performing alongside Lauryn Hill on
Friday, April 15, 2016 at the King’s Theatre, Brooklyn, United States of
America.
Dubbed Diaspora Calling! the three-day series of music and
art experiences is organized by the Grammy winner in association with streaming
service, Tidal. It started yesterday and will culminate in a music concert,
which will be headlined by Ms. Hill.
“Diaspora Calling! is a collection of works intended to
celebrate the rich tapestry of artists from the African Diaspora while also
illumining persistent and irrepressible themes…
Even if we work independently,
we are a resounding collective voice, both reconciling and embracing our
relationship to history, our origins, our future and to ourselves.” says Hill.
Stephen Marley, Mr. Eazi, WondaBoy and others will be
performing at the event, and will be streamed live on Tidal.
