This year’s BET is over and for those who had the
opportunity to witness it in one way or the other shared their experiences
through various mediums.
For
the 2006 winner of Miss Malaika, Hamamat Montia, her
experience at the backstage of the event comprising of when artistes got to
venue, before they changed into their costumes, climbed the stage and finished
their performance was an eye opening one.
In a post on her
Instagram page, she disclosed what she
witnessed explains international artistes making it big worldwide and
going places.
Montia
wrote;
Last
night was amazing!
I
was so happy to be there.
I
had the opportunity of meeting some of the worlds biggest artist.
Seeing
them backstage before and after the show thought me this .
The
reason why they make it worldwide is because they have a #team .
A
team that helps them be what you think they are.
So
that greatness you see is just not their light but a combination of others
lights who care greatly about their success including other artist.
The
spirit backstage was one I have never felt before .
The
attitude towards work was the same from the cleaner to the artist .
Video
coming up soon!
This
experience has changed my life.
Thank
you so much to my management @tinafarristours
@iamsuede
I
felt like a kid in a candy store.
